Visit my website: Patrice Moore Reviewer's Comments for Saving Grace:Saving Grace is an emotional tale full of betrayal and hope. Patrice Moore handles the sensitive issue of spousal abuse with tact and talent creating a riveting book. Patrick is an honorable man doing what he must to keep his business afloat and yet, when he learns Grace’s secret he is willing to put himself in danger to keep her safe.
The love scenes in Saving Grace have an intimate feel that draw the reader into each encounter. Grace struggles with the fear she has lived with for years and yet she is strong enough to embrace the love she feels for Patrick. She is an admirable woman who deserves to find happiness. Patrice Moore has created a wonderful story! |
I live on a forty-acre homestead in north Idaho with my wonderful husband of seventeen years and two daughters (ages 9 and 11). Between milking cows, gathering eggs, weeding the garden, and trying to keep the young fruit trees alive, I get up at ungodly hours (often 3:30 a.m.) to write. We have a home business and I homeschool our girls, so getting up early is the only quiet time I have.
I am published in various magazines including Countryside, Backwoods Home, Country EXTRA, Home Education Magazine, BackHome Magazine, Crafts Report Magazine, and Grit. My first nonfiction manuscript, entitled Practical Simplicity, is currently under contract with an agent. I am published with The Wild Rose Press (www.thewildrosepress.com) in contemporary romance. Saving Grace is my first book to hit the stands, available in June 2007. What Happened in Abbity Park is currently under contract, with a tentative release date of August 2007. Two additional manuscripts are under consideration as well. I’m crazy over books and we own over three thousand of them on subjects ranging from astronomy to zoology. I have a master’s degree in biology but don’t use it much (actually, I don’t use it at all anymore). I prefer to write both fiction and nonfiction, and be a full-time mom to my kids. I love to write, and often write when I really should be doing something more productive…like cooking dinner. Much of my writing deals with rural themes. Country living continues to fascinate me, even when I’m crouched next to a cow milking in zero degree weather. I am a member of RWA and our local chapter (IECRWA), where I act as Treasurer and Newsletter Editor. |
